WHA Industrial Development PLC (WHAID), led by Ms. Ladda Rojanavilaivudh, Chief Commercial Officer, congratulated executives of Hangcha Group Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of forklifts and material handling equipment from China, on the grand opening of its new factory. Located at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 3 (WHA ESIE 3) in Chonburi, this facility marks Hangcha’s first overseas plant and a key step in its global expansion. The factory will enhance production, service, and delivery capabilities for customers in Thailand, ASEAN, and global markets. This investment reflects global investor confidence in WHA Group’s world-class infrastructure and strong industrial ecosystem.

Representing an investment of approximately USD 20 million (around THB 665 million) and spanning over 35,000 square meters, the new plant has a production capacity of 10,000 units per year. It covers the manufacturing of forklifts, aerial work platforms, and lithium battery assembly. This aligns with Hangcha's global growth strategy to develop logistics innovation and clean energy solutions, while positioning Thailand as a key production and distribution hub in Southeast Asia. This expansion also perfectly matches WHA's Smart Eco Industrial Estates concept, which provides advanced clean energy management and digital technologies to support sustainable, eco-friendly growth for clients.
