Roles and Responsibilities of the Committee and Working Team
Board of Director
- Oversees overall good corporate governance to create sustainable value for the enterprise
- Approves sustainability vision, policies, goals, and strategies while considering ESG factors to ensure business operations are consistent with the organization's goals and strategies and the expectations of stakeholders
Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Committee
- Reviews and endorses the Group’s sustainability vision, policies, goals, and strategies
- Monitors and evaluates corporate governance performance and sustainable development as assigned by the Board of Directors to ensure operations and activities comply with policies and strategies to achieve sustainable development goals
Group Chief Executive Officer
- Oversees the implementation of sustainability strategies of the Chief Sustainability Officer
- Determines sustainability performance indicators to ensure that sustainability initiatives are integrated with the Group’s vision, policies, goals, and strategies, and supporting core business operations.
Chief Sustainability Officer
- Leads and drives sustainability initiatives across the organization under the supervision of the Group Chief Executive Officer
- Drives and monitors the implementation of sustainability initiatives across all aspects, while fostering a sustainability culture and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the transformation in sustainable development within the organization and the achievement of sustainability goals
Sustainability Office
- Plan and propose sustainability policies, goals, and strategies for management and board’s consideration, endorsement and approval
- Implement sustainability policies, strategies and operational frameworks, coordinates with related working groups across the organization, monitors performance, and reports progress to support effective sustainability management and to achieve the organization's sustainability goals
