Chinese Ambassador and Delegation Visits WHA Industrial Estates to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

On May 19, 2025, H.E. Mr. Han Zhiqiang, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Thailand, together with a high-level delegation from the Chinese Embassy, graciously official visit to the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) (ESIE) and WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 (WHA ESIE 1), both developed and operated by WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited (WHAID)

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Chairman of the Board Directors, and Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Group CEO, along with directors and executives of WHA Corporation Public Company Limited (WHA Group). The WHA team provided an overview of the Group’s operations, highlighting its commitment for sustainable growth.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured LLIT (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a Chinese-invested company operating within WHA ESIE 1. The visit aimed to observe its production activities and showcase Thailand’s strategic positioning and capabilities as a leading manufacturing hub in the ASEAN region.

This occasion also served as a platform for both parties to exchange strategic visions and reaffirm the strong relationship between the People’s Republic of China and Thailand. Both sides confirmed their commitment to promoting mutually beneficial investments, marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation and driving Thailand's industrial sector toward robust growth on the global stage.
