WHA Highlights Thailand's Investment Potential at Thailand Focus 2024 - “Adapting to a Changing World”

August 28, 2024 – Mr. Natthapatt Tanboon-ek, Chief Financial Officer of WHA Corporation Public Company Limited, participated in a panel discussion titled 'Game-Changing Opportunities in Thailand: The Rise of New Industries and Investment Relocations' at the Thailand Focus 2024 conference, themed 'Adapting to a Changing World.' The event, held at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, aimed to reaffirm the readiness and potential of public listed companies (PLCs) and the Thai economy amidst a rapidly changing global landscape.

Mr. Natthapatt expressed confidence in Thailand's readiness to become a top investment destination and manufacturing hub, highlighting the country's strategic location at the heart of the region, robust infrastructure, reliable utilities, skilled workforce, and supportive government policies. Moreover, the collaboration with the Thai private sector plays a crucial role in attracting continuous foreign direct investment, as evidenced by the influx of new industries such as automotive, electric vehicle components, electronics, and data centers. The company expects this investment relocation trend to continue for the next 3-5 years.

Thailand Focus 2024 was organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, in collaboration with DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand), Kiatnakin Phatra Securities, Bank of America Securities, and Tisco Securities, together with Jefferies. This annual event aims to bolster confidence among international institutional investors and connect global institutional investors with investment opportunities in Thailand. This year marks the 18th edition of the conference.
