WHA Group and Partners Support Hospitals with “Qvira Upcycling” Patient Bed Sheets, Promoting a Greener and Healthier Future under the WeCYCLE Project

WHA Corporation Public Company Limited (WHA Group) reaffirmed its commitment to the mission “WHA: WE SHAPE THE FUTURE” by advancing its vision of building a sustainable and caring society. Through its WeCYCLE Project, WHA Group, together with its partners, delivered “Qvira Upcycling” patient bed sheets to three hospitals — Pluak Daeng Hospital and Ban Khai Hospital in Rayong Province, as well as Nong Khae Hospital in Saraburi Province, which serve a large number of local patients.

The Qvira Upcycling patient bed sheets are produced from recycled PET plastic bottles, transformed into high-quality fibers through an eco-friendly upcycling process. They are combined with Qvira smart fibers, which are proven to inhibit viruses, bacteria, and fungi by up to 99%, ensuring greater safety and hygiene for patients.

Beyond being a health-focused innovation, this initiative also reflects WHA Group’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship by reducing plastic waste and lowering carbon footprints, in alignment with its Net Zero goals. The project underscores WHA Group’s determination to help create a healthier, more livable world — today and for future generations.

"From the heart… towards sustainable care" represents WHA Group’s genuine dedication to delivering tangible benefits to Thai society.
