WHA Group Joins Partners for “Electrolux Professional Sourcing Day,” Highlighting Global Confidence in Thai Supply Chain as a Strategic Export Hub

RAYONG (January 23, 2026) – WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited (WHAID) has partnered with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), the Thai Subcontracting Promotion Association (Thai Subcon), and Electrolux Professional (Thailand) to host “Electrolux Professional Sourcing Day.” This key business matching event, held at Holiday Inn & Suites Rayong City Center, aims to build strong connections between international manufacturers and Thai suppliers. The event welcomed participation from more than 50 companies, resulting in 32 business matching sessions. The initiative is projected to generate total business linkages valued at over THB 130 million.

The event aims to highlight the strength and potential of Thailand’s supply chain by creating opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs and SMEs to become part of global production networks. It promotes local sourcing (local content), reduces reliance on imports, and strengthens tangible linkages between global manufacturers and Thai suppliers. This initiative aligns with the success of Electrolux Professional’s manufacturing facility in Thailand, located within the WHA Rayong Industrial Land (WHA RIL), which has achieved cumulative domestic production of over 350,000 units and maintained continuous operations for more than five years. These achievements reflect the strong confidence of leading global companies in the capabilities of Thai manufacturers, the country’s production standards, and Thailand’s industrial ecosystem at the international level.
