Connecting Ambitions: WHA Job Fair 2026 Opens Doors to 14,000 Local Careers

In the vibrant atmosphere of April 2026, the WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An became the epicenter of regional economic hope as the "WHA Job Fair 2026 " officially commenced. Organized by the Dong Nam Economic Zone (DNEZ) Authority in collaboration with WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An, the event served as a high-impact bridge between global investors and the burgeoning local workforce.

With a total demand of 14,000 positions across sectors like electronics, automotive parts, and high-tech manufacturing, the fair highlighted Nghe An's rapid transformation into a premier industrial hub.

A Vision of "Sustenance and Stability"

Representing the provincial leadership, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the event was more than just a recruitment drive—it was a promise to the people.

"This is not simply a connection of labor supply and demand; it is a concrete action showing the province's determination to build a sustainable employment ecosystem. We want our youth to find professional, international-standard environments right here in their hometown, allowing them to stay close to their families while contributing to global supply chains."

To support this, the province is accelerating the development of Social Housing projects No. 3 and No. 4 near the WHA and Nam Cam zones to ensure workers can truly "settle down and thrive".

WHA: Building Careers, Not Just Infrastructure

As the host and a primary driver of industrial growth, WHA Group – represented by Mr. Dispong Pornchanoknart, Country Head, WHA Vietnam shared its long-term commitment to the province. With over 35 years of experience and a current investment of over USD 1.3 billion in Nghe An, WHA sees the workforce as the heart of its success.

"Today, in this room, recruitment needs meet career ambitions. WHA is committed not just to building industrial zones, but to building careers. When workers can commute safely and live comfortably, they stay longer, perform better, and build deeper roots in this community. That is good for Nghe An, and good for all of us."

High-Tech Opportunities and Personal Growth

Enterprises at the fair showcased a clear shift toward high-tech manufacturing, offering positions that reward technical skill and curiosity. Mr. Zhang Chi, Director of Alltop Industrial Co., Ltd., a specialist in smart automation and precision molding, offered an inspiring call to potential candidates.

"Joining us at this stage means you won't just be following instructions—you'll be helping to write them. We are looking for partners who want to grow with us over time. You will work with high-speed automated machinery, but more importantly, you will work alongside supportive people in an environment that encourages you to ask questions and try new things."

A Strategic Engine for Growth

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi, Deputy Head of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Authority, emphasized that the fair is a practical solution to stabilize human resources for enterprises within the zone, ensuring high operational efficiency and sustainable development. He noted that the recent influx of large-scale FDI projects, particularly in electronics, technology, and supporting industries, has created an urgent need for a disciplined and professional workforce.

"The Dong Nam Economic Zone Authority commits to remaining a steadfast partner to businesses, improving the investment environment, and facilitating the connection between training and recruitment," Mr. Loi stated. "Our goal is to develop a sustainable human resource pool that will drive the Economic Zone to become a vital growth engine for the entire province".

A Future Crafted Together

The fair successfully registered nearly 1,500 participants in person, with many more connecting online, underscoring the high demand for quality employment. Of the 14,000 openings, approximately 1,500 positions are dedicated to skilled professionals and office staff, providing a clear pathway for graduates to advance into leadership roles.

As the event concluded, the message to the workers and students of Nghe An was clear: The real world is waiting, and it is right here. Through the synergy of government policy, infrastructure excellence from WHA, and the innovation of global enterprises, the future of Nghe An is being shaped—one job, one career, and one ambition at a time.
