Factory & Warehouse Building Specification

The WHA Logistics Distribution Center Standard for Built-to-Suit Warehouses and Factories

One Continuous Metal Roof Sheet

WHA Logistics uses a single metal sheet on our built-to-suit warehouses and factories. Therefore there are no connections on the metal sheet roofing which are a major source of leaks for other warehouses that use multi roofing sheets.

Air Gap Roof Insulation

Microfiber insulation is installed beneath the roofing to create an air gap which acts as another layer of insulation. With this method, WHA Logistics warehouses will have a lower inside temperature than other general warehouses.

WHA Logistics built-to-suit warehouses and factories have metal sheet louvers with bird screens around the building. In addition, as a result of our research into ventilation in warehouses and factories, the roof jacks in the middle of our warehouses are installed at a higher level than those in regular warehouses in order to maximize wind flow and avoid ventilation short circuits.

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Compliance

The WHA Logistics warehouses, distribution centers, and factories are well-designed from the beginning in order to comply with GMP practice. All of the WHA Logistics properties are designed in accordance with GMP requirements such as the GMP toilet, to minimize dust accumulation, and to prevent interference from termites, birds, and even insects.

Burnished Floor Finish (Mirror Floor Finish)

WHA Logistics uses high strength concrete for the warehouse and factory floor instead of normal concrete. In addition, the new ‘burnished floor’ technique is implemented to treat the surface of the floor. As the result of mastering this technique, the floor has a high abrasive strength capacity which makes it more durable for heavy duty wear and also minimize dust and cracks that may occur in case of high traffic usage.

Special Heat Treatment Floor Finish (Mirror Floor Finish)

WHA Logistics uses special concrete for the warehouse and factory floor instead of normal concrete. This new quality heat treatment is applied to the mirror surface of the floor, resulting in a high abrasive resistance which makes the floor more durable for heavy duty use and also minimizes cracks that may occur in case of high traffic usage.
